Privacy Policy

Pilot program policy. Last updated August 29, 2026.

1. What we collect

• From businesses: business name, chosen fee percentage, and the sales, redemptions, and complaint events entered at the counter.
• From customers of those businesses: a phone number, entered at the register with the customer's knowledge, used as the key for their credit balance at that business. Nothing else: no name, no email, no address, no card details.

2. What we never collect

• Card numbers, expiration dates, or any payment credentials. The payment happens entirely on the business's existing processor before Bungee is involved.
• Precise location, contacts, or anything read from the device beyond what is typed in.

3. How we use it

Only to operate the program: computing credit, showing balances, and producing the business's pilot dashboard. Aggregate, de-identified statistics (for example, average redemption rates across pilots) may be used to evaluate and describe the product.

4. What we share

Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers. A customer's balance and history at a business are visible to that business. Balances are keyed per business: one business can never see a customer's activity at another business.

5. Where it lives

Pilot data is stored in a database operated by Bungee. During the pilot phase this is a single managed server. Reasonable safeguards are in place, but pilot infrastructure is not yet audited to an enterprise standard, which is one reason we collect so little.

6. Deletion and export

A business can request a full export or deletion of its data at any time. A customer can ask the business, or us directly, to delete the balance record tied to their phone number. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days: jshapiro318@gmail.com.

7. Changes

If our practices change as the product leaves the pilot phase, this page will be updated first and material changes will be flagged inside the product.
